PIC: Students need gadgets like these for Emergency Remote Teaching and Learning
University of Malawi, The Polytechnic has launched a Buy a Gadget Campaign whose aim is to fundraise money for procuring Internet-enabled gadgets which will be donated to needy students.
Because they do not have these gadgets, they are unable to attend classes, which are being offered remotely due to the dangers posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is for this reason that this Buy-a-Gadget Campaign has been launched. The Polytechnic is asking the Polytechnic alumni, companies/organizations, and all well-wishers to make a big difference in the lives of these students by either sending money that will be used to purchase a gadget or donate a gadget itself.
