About
The Department of Quantity Surveying is one of three departments in the Faculty of Built Environment (FoBE). It offers two undergraduate degrees and two diplomas.
What We Currently Offer
The Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Land Economy aims to give students an understanding of the principles and methods of modern land economy, and the skills to apply the knowledge in solving theoretical and practical problems in real estate and other related fields in relation to societal needs for national development. Ultimately, the goal of the programme is to meet the real estate industry sector needs, including those dealing with research and education. Some students can also opt for the Diploma in Land Economy rather than the degree, depending on their needs and qualifications.
The Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Quantity Surveying aims to give students an understanding of the principles and concepts of quantity surveying and the skills to apply the knowledge in solving theoretical and practical problems in the construction industry. As with the degree in land economy, the goal of the quantity surveying programme is to meet the construction industry sector needs in quantity surveying, even as they apply to research and education in quantity surveying. A Diploma in Land Economy is available as an option for some students depending on their needs and qualifications.
Other Ventures
