Criteria for Admission

The programme has three entry points referred to as pathways and three exits. This is in line with the college’s multiple entry and exit requirement. 

Normal Entry

Pathway 1: A candidate with Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), ‘O’ Level or equivalent can join the programme at the beginning of year one.

Mature Entry

Pathway 2: A candidate with MSCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent and a diploma including industrial experience may join the programme at the beginning of year 2

Pathway 3: A candidate with MSCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent and a degree in humanities or a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism may join the programme at the beginning of year 3.
