News   Poly News   August 21, 2017
A few privileged needy students from the Polytechnic will soon have a sigh of relief, as National Bank of Malawi will award full paid tuition scholarships to twenty needy students.

According to the Dean of students Mr Ndalama the scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of outstanding results on the previous end of semester results that are yet to be released. “There are a number of students that met me and expressed their grievances on the hiked fees, so these are the students that are going to be considered on the basis of their previous academic performance.“ said Ndalama.

The National Bank of Malawi donated a 32 million-kwacha cheque, which will fund tuition fees for the selected students. Officials from National Bank will present the cheque during an honourary ceremony to the beneficiaries in the presence of the Dean of students.
